The University of British Columbia Rugby Club

A  twenty-five man squad will head down to the Bay Area tomorrow where UBC will play the first of two World Cup games as well as a friendly against St. Mary's College. The Birds are up first to Cal and they will play them on February 18th @ 3:00pm at Treasure Island. The birds almost got the deed done last year at Treasure Island but Cal game from behind and scored two converted tries in the last five minutres of the game to trump us 21-13. Our second game against St. Mary's will prove to be a real dog fight as both teams split results last year with UBC dropping a 34-19 result down there and recording 42-7 result at home. The St. Mary's game will be played on their campus on February 21st with a 3:00pm KO.
